Carlos at C&A Auto is great. He was very patient with my difficult warranty company, and fought to have the necessary repairs done when they wanted to cut corners. He let me know everything that was wrong ahead of time, and gave me options based on my budget. He kept me updated on the repairs, and sent me pictures showing me what was specifically wrong or broken. Great mechanic!

I'm what some would call a YouTube or DIY repairman. That is to say if there is a video which shows how to repair something on your own, I usually do it myself. I thought I could save a couple bucks by recharging the AC refrigerant in our cars by doing it at home. I brought them in to C&A have the systems evacuated (the responsible way, not gassing it off into the atmosphere), but then tried to fill them on my own with those little cans you buy at AutoZone, or O'Reiley's. After following all the steps in the YouTube video to the letter, I still could not get it to work. I called C&A and spoke with Carlos who explained to me how to do it, (exactly as the video had demonstrated) though alas I still could not get it to work. So I called again and he told me to bring them in the next day. I did, and boom! They were blowing cold in no time. He explained to me why those little cans just don't work, and he even cut me a small break, as he knew I was doing it myself to save money. I mean, who isn't these days? I believe he and C&A are good, honest guys and next time I find myself in over my head on a car repair job, C&A will have my business for sure.

Been here a couple of times now for my car and they were really helpful each time. They're really good at communicating as they go, but also are good at not pushing for added services you don't need. They let me know that my breaks are wearing down, but didn't try and scare me into replacing them right then and there as some shops would do for the money. They're really good at just letting you know what's going on with your car and giving you all your options without feeling pressured.
