Volevamo trovare un bar per colazione e questo ha soddisfatto le ns aspettative. Personale gentilissimo, avevamo chiesto 2 caffè e latte ma abbiamo ricevuto 2 caffè americani ma i ragazzi hanno prontamente sostituito i prodotti. Grazie mille.

After finishing some errands nearby, we discovered this place and decided to take a break with a coffee. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place—it was clean and minimalist yet inviting. The large floor-to-ceiling window at the front allowed us to watch people passing by. The latte was delicious, and the pastries complemented it well. We were fortunate enough to find a seat and plan to return soon for another round of coffee and pastries.

The atmosphere is amazing and cozy, the staff are very welcome, committed, and more importantly polite. The cortado was very well prepared and presented. They have a good space to meet friends and work.

A gem. Small quaint and lovely. I literally had a single origin Ethiopian double shot espresso that was smooth and flavorful. The almond croissant was fresh. Sweet but not too sweet. Then I can back for an other cause it was so good. Highly recommend if you love Aussie style espresso coffee. And happy people

The Coffee bar offers excellent food and drink options. I went with a classic latte and was impressed with the latte art - the barista wrote our names! The pastries were also great. This location has a very community feel to it, like Cheers, where everyone seems to know your name. I would highly recommend it as a grab and go spot, seating is very limited!

This is a great little coffee shop nestled around a bunch of office buildings so if you aren't looking for it you may miss it, but that would be your mistake. The drink options are what you can expect from any coffee house but the service here is always the highlight. A bright store combined with good attitudes behind the counter always makes stopping in a nice exchange. Cannot speak to the snacks offered but the coffee and tea is always on point.

I came in because somebody else reviewed this place as the best coffee shop in DC. Needless to say, I was skeptical. I arrived, informed them of the earlier review and implied the high expectations I had and they stared back with confidence and an aura of "its go time"
I started with a flat white with Single origin Ethopian coffee, 5 stars.
In the pastry case I stared at the lonely croissant and inquired to its makeup, Proscuitto and gruyere cheese they said....I committed to it before they could finish explaining it. 5 stars.

I ended with a large coffee to-go, splash of cream....yummy. 5 stars.

Is it the best coffee shop in Washington DC? Did they live up to the hype?

Yeah, they did. I'll say best coffee shop in the area because DC is big.
