I really wanted to like this place more. But, maybe we were there on the wrong night. The service was all over the place. We had to ask three times just to get our bottle of water. We ordered drinks and they never came. The menu is printed in faded ink in cursive, so you cannot read it. The owner - who is super nice and loves to chat - explains every menu item to every table…

The food was just okay. It lacked flavor overall.

If I had to pick an adjective for Lamadè I can only think magical. They serve typical dishes from the Cilento consistently executed to perfection, freshness and flavor was always on top the 4 times I got to sit in their Cantina. The baccalà and the pesto are MUSTS in this place. Wine pairing was great as well. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be fair saying that Lamadè is just about food, the atmosphere here is amazing the whole family is either at the kitchen, hosting or serving the dishes, they just make you feel welcome into their own concept of heaven on earth.

Man if I could give this place 6 stars I would give them 7. It was an incredible dining experience. One of my favorites in Italy. The service was incredible. We’re in from New York and our hostess spoke great English. She was super knowledgeable on all the food and suggested her favorites and boy was she right. Some of the finest dishes I’ve had and some of the best pasta. I highly recommend this place. If you’re in the area it is a must. We had a full three courses, the only reason we didn’t get dessert was we have an early drive. We were the first seated for dinner because we did not realize most people in southern Italy usually eat around 9 but they still sat us at 7:30 which was so nice as we were starving.

Lovely couple run restaurant. Charming atmosphere outside close to the main square of the picturesque town of Pisciotta. The food was a home run; lovely taste, highest quality, strictly local ingredients and traditional dishes with a twist. Beautiful dinner experience; one of the very best we had on our Italy trip of this year. And some of the best wine as well. Complimenti e alla prossima!

We loved our evening, at family run, Cantina Lamade! The local wine and handmade pasta were wonderful and we especially liked the personal, local experience and attention. I wish we had photos of the food but we only thought about the moment enjoying the food. I did take a kitchen photo with pots boiling away for pasta and the the father chef and daughter who served us.
We decided to go back tonight so maybe I will h

This family- run restaurant in Pisciotta, It. makes outstanding dishes from local ingredients, heritage flours, and other condiments produced in-house. Enza was running the show the nights we were there, and it is hard to be in her presence without a smile. The pasta dishes made with the specialty flours were exceptionally good. I had spaghetti with mullet in it the first night. The second night was cod served in a chick pea sauce, both traditional Cilento dishes. A couple of bottles of the local red wine for the table made the experience complete.
