mi sento di consigliare il P26.04 - Percorso escursionistico “Antece”, una passeggiata immersi nella natura, non particolarmente difficoltosa. un vivo ringraziamento alla nostra guida locale Francesco Scala che ci ha sapientemente condotti al cospetto della statua ruperstre dell' Antece.

Il paese è curatissimo, si nota il contributo degli abitanti che ci tengono alla propria terra. La particolarità è il campo di calciotto presente nella piazza, che mantiene viva la presenza giovanile, con tornei periodici tra le diverse contrade.

La Grotta di San Michele Arcangelo, Patrimonio UNESCO, è da visitare assolutamente, insieme alla chiesa Madre è un patrimonio culturale di inestimabile valore. Chiedere di Bernardo, persona di spessore, vi porterà in giro per il paese e vi spiegherà tutti i lati positivi di questo bellissimo luogo

Piccolo scrigno di tesori ambientali, artistici e storici.
Ben due i luoghi che hanno ricevuto dall'Unesco il prestigioso titolo di "PATRIMONIO dell'UMANITA''"
- Sulla cima di Costa Palomba (1 125 m) si trova una figura intagliata nella roccia e attribuita al V-IV secolo a.C. La figura, a grandezza naturale (altezza 1,60 m), rappresenta un guerriero vestito con un chitone e armato di scure o clava e di uno scudo. Orientata verso ponente, potrebbe essere la rappresentazione di un dio o di un eroe. Localmente è conosciuta con il nome di "Antece" ("l'Antico" in dialetto cilentano).

- La grotta di San Michele Arcangelo che fu sede di una comunità religiosa benedettina risalente all'XI secolo, anche se sono ipotizzati anche possibili insediamenti precedenti legati alla diffusione della civiltà greca nel Cilento. Le opere murarie, di cui restano ruderi addossati alla parte esterna della roccia, sembrano risalire ai primi decenni del Trecento.
