Second best meal we had in the Amalfi. Great decor and vibe for this small coastal town…. Sword fish was simple, fresh and perfectly cooked. My husband had pork that he said was some of the best he’s ever had. Excellent wine and really nice price…. Service is great if you’re not a rude and impatient tourist. Sad to see it overrun with Americans that don’t attempt to understand the culture.

I loved the atmosphere and the service was solid. We were told by our server about the “fish of the day” which we decided to order even though the price was not listed as it would vary based on market price.
They brought out a tray of fresh fish and we got to choose which one we wanted to eat.
We selected the red snapper and a little while later the tray with the fish and pasta was brought out.
Our server took apart the fish and divided the dish onto 2 separate plates. It honestly looked like it was going to be great… but the fish itself was filled with bones and scales. Even in the pasta itself every bite I was finding scales and bones (and I was looking!)

The issues for me comes down to price, I understand that maybe I just had some bad luck, and the fish I ordered was difficult to properly separate. But my partner and I only ordered the fish of the day and some water and the total price was €89.

I believe that based on the other reviews this place has some solid offerings. But based on my own experience this was really disappointing.

**After writing this review the "owner" has responded and has for whatever reason added false context - so to clarify:
- No, the server did not mention any of the price differences between the fish of the day.
- No we did not have wine during our meal, as I mentioned before the only thing we had was the fish of the day meal and some water.
- and NO we did not eat the whole meal, the dish we left behind was half finished (at best) because the pasta was way too salty and the entire dishes was FULL of scales and fish bones

like I said, perhaps I've just had some bad luck with this place... clearly they've been around for a while and based on other reviews it seems like they DO have some nice offerings. I however, felt very disappointed and would not recommend.

First of all I wanted to move a table because we’re seated by the corner area by the stairs and that corner had a plant with cigarettes on the floor and people coming up and down there, but the other server said we couldn’t move, so we just stayed there. And we order caprese salad and tomato salad which is not good at all, the tomatoes was to sour and the fresh mozzarella was not good. And the server suggested the fresh fish of the day, it happened to be for two persons, so we wind up getting that, the fish was actually very fresh but it was poorly executed, because the pasta that came with it was too salty and I couldn’t taste the lemon sauce at all that was supposed to be, so I wind up asking for a lemon to ease down the saltiness. First bad meal we had so far in Italy.

This is in my opinion the best restaurant in Minori. I ate here 4 days out of my 6 day trip to the beautiful island. The food is delicious and fresh and I'm depressed being away from Minori and not being able to eat here. The customer service is top notch and the ambiance is everything. The owners treat you like family and that is a Plus for me and my husband when eat here. I beg you all to give this restaurant a try when you visit Minori. You will not regret it

Friendly family restaurant and good food. From the appetiser to the main course and dessert, La Locanda outshines the Italian food. Fresh seafood, great ambience and great service. The chef is the father while the waiters are brothers, and dessert is made by the sister.

Food was dry . Little flavour . Minesori salad was only big pieces of dry bread , 3 tomato’s and a little tuna. The fried anchovies with provola cheese was dry with no cheese. Fresh orange juice was not fresh . Will not go back

Terrible place - bad service, mediocre food
I asked for a table and first they said it’s fully booked even though I saw two free tables. I got one of the tables outside but told the waiters that I would like to change for a table inside as soon as someone else was leaving as it was very windy and chilly and too uncomfortable to eat outside. The waiter said in 5-10 minutes I could change, but never came back to make it happen. The food took very long, I only ordered simple pasta with pesto and waited for around 40 minutes. After like 30 minutes they brought out some bread which was super dry and tasted like cardboard. The pasta didn’t have anything to do with pesto. It was a pale, creamy sauce. Not bad necessarily, but not a typical pesto sauce. I finished my first course still waiting that I could change for a table inside as I wanted to eat a second course.
I eventually just went inside to check and realised that the restaurant was half empty! They had me sitting outside even though there was plenty of space inside in the end and just didn’t care to notify me. I didn’t want to spend any more money in this restaurant and rather than staying for a second course, I paid the bill and left.
The menu outside on display has cheaper prices than the one you get once you sit down which is a total scam! I have never seen this before. I would avoid this restaurant.

We ordered three pizzas here. They were uncut, hard and the crust was very thick. We did not manage to eat them all, and as time goes by they become even more hard. The service tax is 3 euro per person. The most unbelievable thing is they charged us twice. First time with a card they say it did not go through due to internet issue, while second time it was OK. After connecting to wifi I found out that they have charged my card twice. This is cheating the customers. If you eat here, pay by cash only.
